I'm Michael Strong, owner of Strong Landscaping & Design here in San Jose. I started this business with one simple goal: to transform outdoor spaces into something people truly enjoy being in. I've always believed that a yard should feel like an extension of your home - a place where craftsmanship, design, and comfort come together. Whether I'm reworking an entire lawn, building a new deck, or setting stone for a custom walkway, my focus is on quality, detail, and creating something that lasts.
About Me
Before this year, I honestly had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I'd worked hard in a few different directions, but nothing ever felt like it really fit. Then I took on a backyard project of my own - just trying to fix up the space and make it something I could be proud of. Somewhere in that process, something clicked.
I realized how much I loved designing, building, and watching something grow from the ground up. It wasn't just about landscaping - it was about creating something lasting and meaningful. That project changed everything for me.
