Full Lawn Renovation (main backyard)

This renovation started with hard, compacted soil and no grass coverage. We tilled, leveled, and amended the surface with compost before planting a premium tall fescue seed blend. The result is a deep-green, healthy lawn built from the ground up — a full transformation in color, density, and texture.

Backyard Test Plot

A small demonstration plot designed to test perennial regress performance and texture. The area was lightly tilled, leveled, and seeded with a high quality blend, producing a soft, dense, "fluffy" turf surface. This micro lawn highlights fine-blade growth, deep color, and a premium finish ideal for high-traffic or display areas.

Backyard Deck & Transition Area

A raised deck built to transform an uneven corner into a functional outdoor living space. Constructed with pressure-treated lumber and precise leveling, the design creates a smooth transition from lawn to deck. The result is a sturdy, modern platform that adds warmth, structure, and a natural gathering space to the yard.

Recycled Concrete Walkway

This project repurposed broken concrete pieces into a functional and visually interesting walkway Each slap was leveled into a compacted base rock foundation and joined with polymeric sand, creating a durable, eco-friendly path that blends rustic texture with practical design.

Paver Pathway in Lawn

This pathway was built by leveling and spacing pavers first then seeding and growing grass around them for natural, integrated finish. The result is a clean, modern design where turf and stone meet seamlessly — blending structure with softness and creating a polished, high-end lawn aesthetic.

Paver Pathway with Gravel Border

A linear paver pathway framed by decorative gravel to enhance drainage and definition. Built over compacted base rock, the clean geometry and constructing textures create a balanced transition between the new ryegrass plot, deck, and surrounding landscape. The design adds both structure and visual depth to the space.

Landscape Wall Installation

A low edging wall built to frame the yard and define elevation changes Using stacked timber secured with long structural screws and leveled along compacted base rock, the wall adds stability and a clean architectural edge. The new structure sets the foundation for surrounding planting and design elements.

Grass/Wildflower Blend

Behind a landscape wall, a blend of tall ("no mow dwarf") fescue and California poppy seed was sown in to create a soft, natural backdrop. The area transitions from structured timber to flowing greenery, capturing a balance between craftsmanship and will growth — a signature look that ties the yard together.
